Asiya's Pearls

The lovely characters, Asiya, Mariam, and Safiya, hang out by the beach weekly and collect a unique pearl to write the name of Allah (SWT) on it and discuss that beautiful name. In every single story, they relate the names with what's going on in their life and learn a lesson by having fun. This story technique makes it very easy for readers to understand the meanings of Allah's names and realize them in daily life. 

Brownie's Travel Diary

Brownie is a traveling cat who loves going on adventures by visiting other countries. Also, there are many fun facts about the countries and their cultures that Brownie learns in his travels. So far, he has visited many countries, such as Greece, Thailand, Zanzibar, and Egypt. We can proudly say that just like hundreds of kids, your kids will love our cute-looking cat and its adventurous journeys around the world.   

Environment Page

We believe that our world needs the attention and care it deserves, and this change will only occur with our kids' help, understanding, and cooperation. On the environment page, many great topics are covered concerning the earth, such as green buildings, food waste, space waste, and plastics.

Jinan's Mysterious Book

Jinan is a ten-year-old Pakistani-American girl with a mysterious book full of prophets' stories. Whenever she faces a problem and feels desperate about it, she notices the mysterious book and randomly opens a page that tells a story of a prophet. The story feels like a remedy to her problems. She connects with them, leading her to turn to Allah (SWT) for her issues. In other words, she finds her solutions with the help of prophets and their inspiring stories. 

My Beloved Prophet

In the My Beloved Prophet part, a story is told by a kid living in our Prophet's time. Every story has a different child telling a special tale about Prophet Muhammed (PBUH), and what makes it unique is that a child's perspective conveys the story. These stories bring our little readers to an internal aspect of the life of Prophet Muhammed (PBUH). In each issue of Salaam Magazine, the story is about one of the good manners of our beloved Prophet (PBUH).

Tarik and Rogy Comic Series

This comic series is about a little boy, Tarik, and his alien friend Rogy. They go on adventures by going back to the past to solve their problems with the help of old Muslim scholars. They get to meet and learn from many great scholars, scientists, philosophers, commanders, and many famous people while having fun. The comic is humorous and entertaining, which makes it one of the parts of our magazine that kids most look forward to reading in every issue.

Eren's Lab

Eren makes a new experiment in each issue. First, he points out what is needed and describes the experiment in step-by-step detail. In the end, he adds a part called 'Think about it,' which connects the experiment or the science behind Allah (SWT) and the Quranic perspective.

Lila's Notebook

In every issue, Lila comes with a new national day! She describes these days and makes a special connection by giving an example from her life. Some of the national days covered are 'National Make a Friend Day,' 'World Health Day,' and 'National Disability Independence Day.' Our cute purple-haired girl celebrates these days with joy and brings awareness to these special days! 

Salaam Interviews

One of the goals of Salaam Magazine is to help Muslim children to be proud of their identity. We enjoy organizing interviews with successful Muslims to provide role models to our children. The Salaam Youth team has interviewed many Muslim individuals from various backgrounds and work areas. Some of our interviews include astrophysicist Burcin Mutlu-Pakdil, mental health counselor Anisa Diab, cardiologist Ozlem Bilen, and MUHSEN Organization. You can watch the full videos on the Salaam YouTube channel. We also interview children's book authors on IGTV live.

Little Chefs in the Kitchen

The recipe page covers solely healthy and easy recipes. These recipes help our little readers create and enjoy wholesome food while having fun. In each recipe, we clearly demonstrate how the food is beneficial for our bodies and why it is important to consume healthy food.

There are a variety of DIYs, art, and activities that kids can enjoy and learn from. These crafts can also be a good way of having quality time with siblings, friends, or family! Be ready to have a blast!
